As a pool owner you must be extremely aware of the potential hazards, particularly to small children, that a large body of water poses.

• Supervise pool users at all times especially children.
• Never leave a child unsupervised around the pool.

• Obtain adult training in basic resuscitation techniques.
• Display a CPR chart in the pool area.
• Most pool covers are not designed as an aid to safety and can be a potential hazard.
